Sometimes you insert data directly into the database, or insert it through a DB Seed.
In PostgreSQL, you need to reset the auto-increment ID in these cases.
SELECT setval(pg_get_serial_sequenceThis is an SQL query you can use for that.
You can set this up by adding it to the bottom of the DB::Seed SQL query, for example.
Now, you may also have accidentally deleted the sequence. Let’s see how to add it back!
