This is what I wrote in the txt file.
Anyway... I got started.
I needed formwork, so I had some wood cut and bought it, but I was supposed to get 4 cm and ended up getting 40 cm. I've never seen such a fool... haha.
So I reordered it, but
maybe because the wood was too thin, it arrived warped.
So... I screwed two pieces together to keep them from bending as much as possible. (Luckily, I ordered three since they were cheap.)
First, I cleaned the existing tiles as much as I could, then secured the formwork.
I put tiles behind it because I saw someone do that somewhere and copied them.
I mixed it well to keep the dust down.
But the bottom wasn't done very well. I kept working on it with the trowel.
But then I ran into a problem.
I calculated carefully and used 5 kg, but as I worked, I realized I was running short.
The floor tiles were 200*200, so I had originally planned to extend it by 10 cm...
I ended up being way, way short!!! So I kept pushing the formwork back and back... and settled on 6 cm...
(If I move the tile forward, it can go up to 7 cm, so it would end up being extended by 7 cm in total.)
And here was another mistake...
Since the floor slopes, there was a tiny gap in the middle even with the formwork in place.
In other words, if I used that formwork to level it, both sides would end up lower and the center higher.
But I just went ahead with the job.
So, after a day had passed... I removed the formwork.
Some bits had come out through the gap in the middle, so I tidied and cleaned everything up.
Then... over the next three days... while it dried... I also brushed on water for curing (?).
